Student Leadership can be expressed in many ways including scholarship, athletics, community engagement, elected positions and volunteering. Brady Oles is a student-leader member of the HVCC Middle States Reaccreditation team for Standard I – Mission and Goals who exemplifies leadership in numerous ways.

Brady is secretary of the Student Senate, and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Alpha Xi Sigma chapter. He is an Individual Studies major working to get into the engineering science program here at HVCC. He is a mathematics tutor at the LAC and is also treasurer of the ENGR Science club. Brady is a member of the Hudson Valley team that placed at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers drone competition in 2022.
Brady is also a triathlete who competed this year in the 2022 Toyota Age Group National Championship — Team USA. He is a sponsored emerging artist at The Foundry (West Stockbridge, MA) where he performs on the guitar.
The Standard One Working Group is co-chaired by Jim Macklin and Vaidehi Agashe. Members of the group include Marianne Belles, Laura Tubbs, Roman Tarbay, Sid Whitaker and Brady Oles.
